Google Wallet: Pay Using Your Android Phone

Best Blogger Tips
There comes a time, when a large company tries to change how the world works and fails. This is not such a time! Google keeps introducing new things every now and then, but not all of them are mentioned/talked about or plan on changing a mans habit. We all love to shop don’t we? We do not like paying surplus amount every time, but we do pay in money. Normally, whenever you buy something, you tend to pay with cash or credit/debit card. Google wants to change that. Well, many want to change that, but Google is the one who’s stepping up to the challenge.

With the introduction of Google Wallet some time back, they turned a lot of heads and many said that it’s not really a good idea. Recently, Google ignored everything and launched Google Wallet. Yes. Google Wallet is now live, a feature that uses NFC chips and turns your mobile device in to your wallet, with credit cards, debit cards and Google Prepaid Cards to buy and pay for stuff. However, this is currently only available for the Nexus S 4G on Sprint, but will soon be available on all NFC enabled Android phones.
This revolutionary method of payment is currently being rolled out to all Nexus S 4G phones that on Sprint, so if you’ve got one you should definitely give Wallet a try. But, here’s something to read before you start waving your device in shops and end up tagged as a fool. Google has currently only tied up with Citi mastercards and their very own Prepaid Card, but there is a good news that will make you want to use this feature as soon as it is out. They’ve also announced that soon ties will be made with Visa, Discover and American Express, which should be enough for most people to use the Google Wallet. Check out this video of Google Wallet after the break;

So, if you happen to have a Sprint Nexus S 4G lying around, then it’s probably best that you start using Google Wallet. They’re also giving $10 to anyone who tries this out before the end of 2011. Since NFC is still not really popular with mobile manufactures, it’ll be good to see how the world is going to react to a wallet-less wallet. It’s definitely awesome, and I sure will use this feature if it rolls out everywhere and shops start accepting this method of payment.
